Order of Richard Laymon Books

Richard Laymon (1947-2001) was an American novelist of horror and suspense novels, considered part of the splatterpunk sub-genre. His writing is full of violence and sex, and not for the faint of heart. Although he was American, his books sold best in the United Kingdom. Laymon also wrote historical fiction series with other authors using the collective pseudonym Lee Davis Willoughby.
Richard Laymon’s first novel was The Cellar, published in 1980. His final novel was published in 2005, titled both The Glory Bus and Into the Fire. Below is a list of Richard Laymon’s books in order of when they were originally published:

Notes: Your Secret Admirer and Nightmare Lake were written as Carl Laymon. Tread Softly and Midnight’s Lair were also published under the pseudonym of Richard Kelly. Tread Softly was also published as Dark Mountain. Amara is alternately titled To Wake the Dead. The Glory Bus is also known as Into the Fire. Ten Tales is co-authored by Neal Barrett, Jr. and Wendy Hornsby. Triage also contains contributions by Jack Ketchum and Edward Lee. The Making of America, Women Who Won the West and Making of the Cities series were co-authored by William L. DeAndrea and Richard Deming using the collective pseudonym of Lee Davis Willoughby.
