Order of Margaret Truman Books
Margaret Truman Daniel (1924-2008) was an author of mystery novels. She was the only child of US President Harry S. Truman and Bess Truman. Before she was an author, she was a singer. Margaret also wrote several non-fiction books, including an biographies of her parents and an autobiography. Her debut novel Murder in the White House was adapted to film as Murder at 1600 starring Wesley Snipes.
Margaret Truman’s first book was Souvenir: Margaret Truman’s Own Story, which was originally published in 1956. Her first foray into the fiction world was Murder in the White House, published in 1980. Below is a list of Margaret Truman’s books in order of when they were first published:
