Phyllis A. Whitney (1903-2008) was an American novelist of mysteries, gothic fiction and romantic suspense. Although she was known as “The Queen of American Gothics,” she disliked the title and preferred to be known as a romantic suspense author. She wrote books for both adults and young adults. She passed away in 2008 at the astounding age of 104.
Phyllis A. Whitney made her debut as a novelist in 1941 with A Place for Ann. Phyllis was a prolific author who wrote over 70 novels. Below is a list of Phyllis A. Whitney’s books in order of when they were originally released:
