The Dancers at the End of Time is a series of science fiction books by English author Michael Moorcock. The series takes place during an era known as the “End of Time,” a time when “entropy is king and the universe has begun collapsing upon itself.” Those who exist in the era are immortal decadents who possess power rings that can access energy stored by their ancestors from millions of years ago. Time travel is possible, and space travel is considered cliche.
The Dancers at the End of Time series began in 1972 with the novel An Alien Heat. The series lasted six books, until 1984’s Elric at the End of Time. Below is a list of Michael Moorcock’s Dancers at the End of Time books in order of when they were originally released:
