Order of Blackie Ryan Books
Blackie Ryan is the protagonist in a series of mystery novels by American author Andrew M. Greeley. He starts out as Father Blackie Ryan, at a little over 40 years old. Based in Chicago, Blackie travels the world solving various mysteries involving the Catholic Church.
Andrew M. Greeley began his Blackie Ryan series in 1985 with Happy Are the Meek. A younger version of the character also appears in several of Greeley’s Time Between The Stars novels. The series ended after 17 novels with the novel The Archbishop in Andalusia in 2008. Below is a list of Andrew M.
