Duncan Culpepper, also known as the Culpepper Adventures, is a series of children’s novels by American author Gary Paulsen. The books follow Duncan Culpepper and his best friend, Amos, on their adventures.
Gary Paulsen launched his Duncan Culpepper series in 1992 with the novel The Case of the Dirty Bird. The series lasted 32 books, including a “special”, concluding with the 1997 book Super Amos. Dunc Breaks the Record is book 4 in the Duncan Culpepper series from Gary Paulsen. Dunc Breaks the Record is about Amos and Dunc’s adventures in the wilderness. It sounded so easy when they read about it in a book! Their biggest problem is that they’ve been captured by a wildman.
