2011 Strand Magazine Critics Awards Nominees Announced
The nominees for the 2011 Strand Magazine Critics Awards have been announced! These awards look to recognize the best in mystery fiction and are judged by such media outlets as USA Today, the LA Times, the Chicago Tribune and others.
For the fourth consecutive year, Michael Connelly has been nominated for the best mystery novel. Other nominees (all making their debut) include Lee Child, Joseph Finder, P.D. James and George Pelecanos.
In addition to that, John Sandford and Joseph Wambaugh will each be presented with The Strand’s Lifetime Achievement Award for their work in crime and thriller writing.
