September 2015 Book of the Month:
Stephen King has called Jack Reacher the “coolest continuing series character” and now the latest Jack Reacher book in the series hits September 8th.
Titled “Make Me” – if you’re asking Jack Reacher to do something and he says “Make Me”….well, good luck doing that.
R.I.P. Oliver Sacks:
Shortly before going to press, we heard the sad news that Oliver Sacks passed away.
Oliver Sacks was a very interesting author who had been writing since 1970 and published his latest book, On The Move: A Life just a couple of months ago. Sacks was notable because all of his work was non-fiction, and focused mostly on the patients that he would treat as a neurologist.
Of course he was most notable for his novel Awakenings, which was adapted into the amazing movie featuring Robert De Niro and Robin Williams.

Your Feedback:
We’d love to get your thoughts on a current hot topic – resurrecting a dead authors fiction books.
For example – Stieg Larsson, who has passed away, wrote the Millenium Trilogy which features The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Now a 4th book, with his name on the cover – The Girl in the Spider’s Web – has been added to the series over a decade after his death.
The latest novel in the Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn – The Survivor – is released next month. However Vince Flynn passed away and the book is written by Kyle Mills.
I don’t even need to mention the Bourne series.
What do you think? Are you okay with this? If you’re reading a series and the author dies but it’s continued on – do you continue to read? Is it a case by case basis?
E-mail us your feedback(100 words or less) to site@OrderOfBooks.com or just reply to this e-mail, and we’ll pick the best comments and feature it in next months newsletter.
(See the newsletter archives for the feedback we received)
