Sorry about the delay with the newsletter this month.  However I have a valid excuse – I was reading!

Although he was one of my favourite authors, I stopped reading John Grisham a few years ago.  I just got tired of the political messages that I felt were ruining the stories of his books.

On a whim 2 weeks ago, I decided to read his latest one Rogue Lawyer.  While again the political messages were there – I remembered just why I liked Grisham in the first place.  His writing style is tremendous and I find he can easily hook you.  I was hooked and I went rushing back to read through all of the ones I’d skipped over the years plus re-read a couple of favourites.

I kept saying to myself “One more chapter and I’ll work on the newsletter” but I just couldn’t put the books down.  Was nice to reacquaint myself with someone who was my favourite author for years.

I also read Mark Greaneys latest – Black Blast.  If you’re a fan of Mitch Rapp, Jack Reacher, Scot Harvath etc then be sure to read the Court Gentry series.  So good – and I have to say Back Blast was my favourite book in the series.

Your Thoughts:

Thanks to everyone for their feedback on the kids book site last month.  The biggest thing we learned from that is who to market the site to – so many teachers etc out there.  Initially we were going to market towards kids but it makes a lot more sense to market to adults.  I’ll be sure to let everyone know when the site is launched.

This weeks question is a 3 part question.

What was the last book you read?
What book are you currently reading?
What book are you planning on reading next?

Feel free to give your opinions on them as well.  For me:

Last Book: The King of Torts by John Grisham.  My favourite Grisham book and this was probably my 10th time reading it and I still thoroughly enjoyed it.  Finished it in a day.

Current Book: Back Blast by Mark Greaney.  Just finished it actually – as I mentioned above it was probably my favourite Grey Man book.

Next Book: Far From True by Linwood Barclay which just came out today.  Can’t wait to hop in the bath later and read for a few hours!

E-mail us your feedback to site@OrderOfBooks.com or just reply to this e-mail, and we’ll pick the best comments and feature it in next months newsletter.
