William Ritter is an American author of YA historical fantasy/mystery novels. He is a New York Times bestselling author. He writes the Jackaby series, which was described as being a mix of Sherlock Holmes and Buffy the Vampire Slayer by the Chicago Tribune. Besides being a novelist, William is an educator, husband and father. He lives in Oregon.
