Peter Swanson Synopsis: The Girl with a Clock for a Heart is a standalone title by Peter Swanson. On an ordinary Friday evening at his favourite Boston tavern, George Foss’s ordiinary life is shattered when a gorgeous woman sits down at the bar, a woman who vanished without a trace twenty years ago. Liana Dector isn’t just an ex-girlfriend, the first love George could never forget. She’s also a dangerous enigma and quite possibly a cold-blooded killer wanted by the police. Suddenly, she’s back – and she needs George’s help. Ruthless men believe she stole some money… and they will do whatever it takes to get it back. George knows Liana is trouble. But he can’t refuse – he never could – so he makes a choice that will take him into a terrifying whirlpool of lies, secrets, betrayal, and murder from which there is no sure escape.
I don’t see The Honeymoon Trap listed in the books by Peter Swanson. When was it written? Why isn’t it listed? Danna
I had never heard of that one. Researching it, it appears it is a limited edition that was written and available exclusively for the Mysterious Bookshop and is part of the Bibliomysteries series.
Sorry for the late response.
If you haven’t found him…Jo Nesbo is a Swedish author.
His books are best from the beginning but start anywhere.
Enjoy!
From reading your comments I have discovered That I am on possibly an impossible task. I collect #1’s of British mystery series. I have well over 100 but I know there are many, many more. Is it possible to get a list of authors etc. or are there just too many. Thank you so much, in advance, for whatever suggestions you might have.
Bill
P. S. To make it worse I even started on Europe proper with
Sweden, Iceland, Denmark and France. Love your emails.
Thanks again.
THat does sound like an impossible task – especially with more and more authors coming out every day. Unfortunately, we don’t have any lists at the moment of authors where you could break it down by nationality and genre. Possibly down the road. That might be one where you have to rely on Googling and looking up various lists.
