Order of Kevin Wignall Books
Born in Brussels in 1967, Kevin Wignall is a British writer who burst onto the scene with his first novel People Die in 2001. He went to college at Lancaster where he studied Politics and International Relations.
As a child he moved around a lot as an army brat as his father was in the service. Wignall didn’t do much with that college degree and has said that he “mostly loafed through the 90s” before deciding to take his hobby seriously and wrote his first book. Wignall also has written books under the pen name K.J. Wignall.

If You Like Kevin Wignall Books, You’ll Love…
The book People Die starts with JJ who is 29 and the at the peak of his career. He has a girlfriend (even though he’s not sure she’s the one), a good job and money isn’t a worry. Of course, his job is not like other jobs – JJ is a contract-killer. He’s working freelance and has built his reputation by being discreet and professional who doesn’t cause trouble. That all changes when after disposing of a mark he finds himself attracted to the man’s beautiful companion and let’s her go – a big no-no in this business. The events that follow will lead him to re-evaluate his whole life and career choice.
To Die In Vienna is one of Wignall’s more popular books. It sees Freddie Makin as a spy for hire who has been watching Jiang Cheng for a year. It’s a job, but it seems very boring as Cheng is living a very normal life. Makin never asks questions about who is paying him or why, but when someone is sent to kill him – everything changes. Freddie must go on the run and he must figure out what exactly he saw that made him a wanted man before it’s too late.
