If You Like Home To Heather Creek Books, You’ll Love…

Home To Heather Creek Synopses: Before the Dawn by Kathleen Bauer is the first book of the Home to Heather Creek multi-author series. A new chapter is beginning in Charlotte Stevenson’s life. Charlotte Stevenson’s world is flipped upside-down by the death of her daughter, Denise, whose three children are now moving to Nebraska to live on Heather Creek Farm. Sam is extremely protective of his younger siblings; Emily desperately misses her friends; and sweet, young Christopher is simply looking to fit in. While Charlotte helps the grandchildren she barely knows adjust to their new life, she also wrestles with her own grief. What if she makes the same mistakes she made with her own daughter, Denise? Is this her chance to make things right?

Sweet September by Kathleen Bauer is the second book of the Home to Heather Creek series. As a family bond that is tenuous at best threatens to fall apart, a mystery on the farm might be the one thing that can restore the Stevensons’ hope for the harvest. Harvest at Heather Creek Farm is an exciting time, but the children have yet to get into the spirit. Emily is struggling with farm life, Christopher spends most of his time by himself, and Sam’s grades are poor. Charlotte is determined not to make the same mistakes she did with her own kids, but how can she get her grandchildren on the right track? Meanwhile, the vegetable garden is uprooted one night. Who could have done such a thing? Charlotte sets out to uncover the truth, and as the kids pull together to find answers, this strung-together family learns more about one another and the love that binds them together.
