Richard Swan is an English author of military science fiction and epic fantasy novels. He writes the Art of War trilogy series and the Empire of the Wolf series. Born in North Yorkshire, Richard spent his childhood living on military bases. He attended the University of Manchester, studying law, and then went on to work as a lawyer for a decade. He now resides in Sydney, Australia with his family.
