Matt Braun Synopses: Tenbow is a standalone novel by Matt Braun. At the base of the Wind River Mountains, just east of the Continental Divide, lies Tenbow Valley—eighty miles of lush, well-watered grazing land along the trail to Oregon Territory. From Cheyenne, Jack Stillman arrives in Tenbow under the guise of a gambler, tasked with investigating a series of cold-blooded murders. The victims? All landowners. The weapon? A long-range rifle wielded with deadly precision.
As Stillman starts peeling back layers of secrets among the valley’s settlers, it becomes clear that greed might be behind the killings. But the shooter keeps striking—even with Stillman hot on the trail. In a landscape of wild honeysuckle, snow-capped peaks, and ancient spirits, the seasoned lawman realizes too late that he’s overlooked a deeper motive—one rooted in something more primal and enduring than money.
Now, with a ruthless killer zeroing in, Stillman finds himself in the crosshairs… and time is running out.
In The Last Stand by Matt Braun, the battle lines are drawn in a land torn by betrayal. Once home to the Five Civilized Tribes, Oklahoma is on the brink of statehood—its lands seized by a federal government intent on control. But Chitto Starr, a proud, full-blood Cherokee, refuses to surrender his heritage without a fight. Choosing defiance over silence, Chitto sparks an armed uprising, drawing the attention of a relentless lawman.
Deputy U.S. Marshal Owen McLain is assigned to bring Chitto to justice. It’s a mission he dreads—but one he cannot afford to fail. As the lawman and the rebel cross paths on ground soaked in history and heartache, their clash becomes more than a manhunt—it’s a showdown of ideals, forged in courage, loyalty, and the shadows of a dying way of life.
Before it ends, both men must face hard truths, difficult choices, and a destiny shaped by honor and blood.
You Know My Name by Matt Braun chronicles the twilight of a lawman’s life and the dying echoes of the frontier. Bill Tilghman was a true icon of justice, a man who earned his reputation chasing outlaws across the wide-open plains. But time marched on, and Tilghman, now older but no less determined, found himself battling a different kind of lawlessness—one born not on the range, but in the booze-soaked streets of Cromwell, Oklahoma.
With gangsters replacing gunslingers and corruption seeping into every corner, Tilghman straps on his badge one last time. Against impossible odds, he stands firm, unwilling to let his principles fade with the setting sun. And by his side stands a woman whose love never wavered, even as the world around them changed.
Braun brings to life the final stand of a man who refused to compromise in a country caught between past and progress. *You Know My Name* is a stirring tribute to the courage, grit, and legacy of the American frontier.
