British supermarket giant Tesco has purchased Andy McNab‘s eBook website Mobcast for a reported £4.5 million (of which the Nick Stone author will apparently get over £1m). The Mobcast website allows users to download eBooks to mobile devices including phones and tablets.

HarperCollins is starting up a new imprint of paperback mysteries called Bourbon Street Books. The line will include original novels, reprints and backlisted novels priced at $14.99 in trade paperback format. The imprint will be overseen by Jonathan Burnham and Cal Morgan.
