If You Like Alexis Daria Books, You’ll Love…
You Had Me at Hola sees a soap opera star named Jasmine Lin Rodriguez who finds herself in the tabloids after a messy public breakup. She returns to her home of New York City to film a movie with designs on being a leading lady. However, a casting change sees her put alongside a telenovela hunk named Ashton Suárez. Ashton is worried that his career is dying, but he hopes that this will give him a chance to show off his chops. He knows the key to making it work is generating chemistry with Jasmine, but that is easier said than done when he makes a disastrous first impression. The two agree to rehearse in private which leads to kissing and behind the scenes romance, but the media spotlight threatens to hurt them both.
Take the Lead was Daria’s debut and the first in the Dance Off series. The book sees Gina Morales in her fifth season on the TV celebrity dance competition and she wants to win this time. Her new partner is from the Alaskan wilderness reality show Living Wild and she thinks he’s her ticket to the finals. Stone hates the idea of reality TV and the fact that he had to join this cast, but his attraction to his partner is hard to deny.
