Anne Youngson is an English author who debuted with Meet Me at the Museum in 2018.
Youngson worked for many years in the car industry in a management role before eventually deciding to become a writer. That switch lead to Meet Me at the Museum for the Costa Best First Novel Award. In addition to her work as a writer, Youngson also supports many charities and works in governance roles. She is Chair of the Writers in Prison Network which provides residencies in prisons for writers.

Meet Me at the Museum begins in Denmark where a Professor named Anders Larsen has lost his wife and his hopes for the future along with it. While on an isolated English farm, Tina is trapped in a life that she doesn’t remember choosing for herself. For each of them, they believe their love stories are over. The two are brought together by the shared interest in the Tollund Man and find they have a lot more in common than they thought. As the two open up to one another, a friendship blooms through letters. Then, Tina’s letters stop and Anders is thrown into despair. They’ll each need to decide what they are willing to do in order to write a new story.
