Order of Bill Granger Books
Bill Granger was an American novelist who wrote thrillers. He was best known for writing books like Public Murders, The November Man, and The Shattered Eye.
In addition to his work as an author, Granger worked as a reporter with the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times. Granger was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, but spent the majority of his life in Chicago, Illinois. He attended college at DePaul University where he got his first start in newspapers as the editor of The Depaulia. After graduation, served in the United States Army before finding work as a reporter.

Public Murders takes place in a hot Chicago summer. The heat is so unbearable that it drove most everyone from the streets. One day, a nice breeze over Grant Park sends an attractive young blonde out of the house, but unfortunately this decision leads straight into her own death by murderer. She turned out to be just the first victim of a new serial killer who is dumping their bodies in public places. Detective Karen Kovac is on the case and in order to catch the killer she takes the deadliest risk possible, she offers herself up as bait to the killer.
Granger’s most famous book is The November Man which became a movie starring Pierce Brosnan. The story follows The November Man, a member of R Section – a watchdog organization designed to keep the CIA in check, as he’s looking to put that life behind him. Then he gets a message from his former handle who needs to reactivate him to save his own life and R Section. A KGB agent has been sent to kill him and he has no idea. His former handler is a pawn in a grand game with The November Man being the only one who can help.
