Christina Skye Synopses: The Ruby is a standalone novel by Christina Skye. Barrett Winslow, a teal-eyed enchantress, flees through the gaslit streets of London, pursued by a ruthless enemy determined to uncover a secret she can never reveal. But fate intervenes, throwing her into the arms of an exotic stranger—one who whisks her away to a sultry, forbidden paradise where passion and danger entwine.
To London’s elite, he is Deveril Pagan, Viscount St. Cyr—envied by men, desired by women. But in the misty emerald hills of Ceylon, he is the Tiger Sahib, a man both feared and revered. For him, the legendary ruby is more curse than treasure, its blood-red glow igniting greed, betrayal, and a desire as fierce as the tropics themselves.
From London’s glittering ballrooms to the lush, untamed shores of colonial Ceylon, Barrett and Deveril are bound by fate and shadowed by danger. As the jewel’s dark legacy tightens its grip, passion flares—but so does the threat of unthinkable evil. And in the sultry heat of the night, Barrett must decide if the man who holds her heart is her fiercest protector… or her greatest peril.

In 2000 Kisses by Christina Skye, public relations whiz Tess O’Mara is burned out and craving a change—something bold, something reckless. And as the year 2000 dawns, fate delivers just that. A computer glitch deposits a cool million into her bank account. The only problem? It’s not her money. Worse, someone is willing to kill to get it back. And Tess? Well, she’s already spent a good chunk of it on a designer wardrobe and a powder-blue Mercedes convertible.
On the run and desperate, Tess speeds toward nowhere—until she crash-lands in the sleepy desert town of Almost, Arizona. There, she’s caught—literally—by Sheriff Jake McCall, a rugged lawman with a dead ringer resemblance to Mel Gibson and zero patience for big-city troublemakers. Jake is ready for anything—except falling for the high-maintenance whirlwind who just turned his quiet town upside down.
But danger isn’t far behind, and as trouble closes in, Tess and Jake find themselves tangled in something far more unpredictable than stolen money—an unexpected love that just might change everything.
