Put off by this revelation, she decides to end it with Lee, even if her friends are taken aback. She becomes stuck in the deepest, darkest corner on her own world, and so she decides to make an escape. Years pass, and Lee is in jail, while Catherine is going by just “Cathy” and trying to rebuild her life elsewhere. But Cathy’s past still haunts her. Then, her neighbour, Stuart Richardson moves in. He helps encourage Cathy to confront what she fears most. At the same time, Cathy begins to feel hopeful, and there seems to be some chemistry with Stuart. Could she finally get to live a normal life? …And then the phone rings…
