Chariots of the Gods? is the book that put Erich von Däniken on the map. The book sees Erich provide some answers to some long unanswered questions. Questions like: Why do religious texts often refer to Gods who descend from fiery chariots? Why do modern space launch sites look like constructions on the plains of Nazca in Peru? Was God an astronaut? For his answers, Erich looks to the stars for answers that he had spent a lifetime gathering evidence to prove. If you are interested in shows like Ancient Aliens, this is the book that got it all started.
The long-awaited sequel to Chariots of the Gods? was The Gods Never Left Us. This book came out fifty years later and Erich von Däniken had gathered more evidence to build his case. What he contends is that recent advancements in biotechnology, astrophysics, engineering, and artificial intelligence have not only given his theories a fresh perspective, but also helped to validate them. von Däniken once suggested that Earth was colonized, but now he finds that the human race is on their own trajectory of interplanetary colonization.
