The Penderwicks: A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy sees the Penderiwkc sisters as they head on holiday to the beautiful Arundel estate. The girls are discovering the summertime magic of the grounds when they meet Jeffrey Tifton, son of Arundel’s owner, who ends up being the perfect companion for their adventures. However, Jeffrey’s mother is not as pleased with the girls as Jeffrey is. She warns the kids to stay out of trouble. Of course, they will. Or won’t they? Whatever happens this will be a summer to remember for all of them.
Another great book in the series is The Penderwicks at Point Mouette. This book sees Rosalind heading off to the beach while the rest of the sisters head off to Maine with their Aunt Claire and their friend, Jeffrey. Skye is the oldest kid left and in charge which is scary for everyone, especially Skye. Skye has been left directions by Rosland not to let Batty explode, but can she succeed? While Jane is making a Love Survey and meeting the alluring Dominic, Batty might be the best singer, and Jeffrey does his best to keep peace between the girls.
