Lewis B. Patten (1915-1981) was an American author of western novels. He also wrote as Lewis Ford, Joseph Wayne, and Lee Leighton – the latter two pen names being collaborations with Wayne D. Overholser, a frequent collaborator of his. He was from Denver, Colorado, and was educated at the University of Denver. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Lewis B. Patten made his debut as a novelist in 1951 with The Snake Stomper (as Joseph Wayne). He made his debut under his own name in 1952 with Massacre at White River. Below is a list of Lewis B. Patten’s books in order of when they were first released:
