Euphoria follows an English anthropologist named Andrew who has been alone in the field for several years as he studies the Kiona river tribe in New Guinea. He is growing increasingly frustrated and isolated by his research. That, along with the memory of his brothers’ death, has him contemplating suicide. Then a chance encounter with colleagues pulls him back from the brink. He meets up with Nell and Fen who has just fled Mumabnyo and are looking for a new discovery. Andrew finds them a tribe nearby, the female dominated Tam, he ends up igniting a intellectual and romantic firestorm between the three of them.
Writers & Lovers sees a woman blindsided by her mother’s death heading to Massachusetts without any plan in the summer of 1997. She is working as a waitress while all her friends have moved on to better things, but she remains committed to the idea of a creative life and works on her novel at night. Things get interesting in her life when she falls for two different men at the same time. Her desire to balance art and life will be challenged in ways that push her to her limit.
