Marius Gabriel Synopses: The Original Sin is a standalone novel by Marius Gabriel. Eden van Buren is trapped, chained to an iron bedstead in a makeshift cell. Her captor, a striking yet tormented young sculptor living in isolation in the Arizona desert, is a paradox: he is compassionate, uninterested in wealth, and seemingly moral. So why has he kidnapped Eden and demanded a ten million dollar ransom? And what drives his obsession with destroying Eden’s mother?
The truth unravels through a twisted web of desire, violence, and betrayal that spans half a century and three continents. The story travels from Franco’s Spain to the brutal horrors of the Vietnam War, and from the glittering world of Beverly Hills to the exotic allure of Costa Brava. The key to this mystery lies buried in a dark family history, spanning generations and brimming with long-hidden secrets.
Eden’s kidnapper is not simply after money—he seeks justice, revenge, and redemption. He is the final link in a chain of deception and lies that began long ago, with an original sin that will change everything Eden thought she knew about her life, her family, and herself.
A House of Many Rooms by Marius Gabriel is a standalone novel. Dr. Rebecca Carey never forgot the day she made the heart-wrenching decision to give up her newborn daughter. Years later, her past comes rushing back when she sees the unimaginable in the headlines—her fifteen-year-old daughter, accused of setting fire to her adoptive mother, resulting in a tragic death.
No longer the troubled teenager she once was, Rebecca has built a life as a dedicated pediatrician. But when she learns of the devastating accusation against the child she gave up, she feels compelled to uncover the truth. What really happened that night? Is her daughter guilty, or is there more to the story?
Determined to find answers, Rebecca must face her own painful past and the choices she made, all while navigating the dark secrets that might lie at the heart of her daughter’s life.
The Seventh Moon is a standalone title by Marius Gabriel. During the height of World War II, Francine Lawrence, a woman of half-Chinese descent, finds herself trapped in the opulence of Singapore’s Raffles Hotel with her young daughter, Ruth. As her British husband is delayed, the world around them descends into chaos. Faced with mounting dangers, Francine is forced to make a harrowing decision: she entrusts Ruth to strangers in the hopes of saving her child from the perils of war.
After the war ends, Francine’s search for Ruth turns up nothing. Heartbroken, she pours her energy into building a business empire, becoming a formidable and successful businesswoman. Three decades later, during the Festival of the Hungry Ghosts, a quiet young woman named Sakura walks into Francine’s New York office, claiming to be her long-lost daughter.
But as Francine is drawn in by Sakura’s calm demeanor, she remains unaware of the dark and tumultuous life her supposed daughter has led. Beneath Sakura’s composed surface is a warrior’s heart, shaped by unspeakable horrors. As the mystery unfolds, Francine must confront the unsettling possibility that Sakura is not who she claims to be, and that she may have a deeply hidden motive to deceive.
