Monica Murphy Synopses: Crave by Monica Murphy is the first book in her Billionaire Bachelors Club series. Archer Bancroft is a billionaire who always gets what he wants, and what he wants most is Ivy Emerson—his best friend’s sister. Forbidden by unwritten rules and his own sense of loyalty, Archer has stayed away from Ivy, but the challenge is becoming irresistible. A million-dollar bet with his bachelor friends only raises the stakes: last man standing wins it all. Confident he can outlast the rest, Archer is certain he has it under control until one night with Ivy changes everything.
Ivy knows Archer is trouble. Arrogant, wealthy, and infuriatingly charming, he’s the kind of man she’s always tried to avoid. But when a stolen kiss ignites a whirlwind night of passion, Ivy finds herself falling for the one man she’s determined to resist.
What starts as a forbidden fling soon becomes something more, as Archer finds himself drawn to Ivy in ways he never expected. Now, with his heart on the line, Archer must decide if he’s willing to risk the bet—and his carefree bachelorhood—for a chance at something real. Will Archer and Ivy’s passion burn out as quickly as it began, or will it lead to something neither of them saw coming?
In Save the Date by Monica Murphy (book 1 of the Dating series), Caroline Abbott is a pro when it comes to handling bridezillas. It’s a job she loves—until she comes face to face with the bride-to-be who happens to be engaged to her first kiss, Alexander Wilder.
Now a successful businessman running his family’s luxury hotel chain, Alex is even more handsome than Caroline remembers. But when Caroline catches his fiancée in a compromising position with another man, she knows she has to tell Alex the truth. Once the engagement is called off, chaos ensues, with Alex’s ex-fiancée going full bridezilla.
As Caroline navigates the fallout, she finds herself unexpectedly drawn back to Alex. To her surprise, he’s interested too, with a proposal that could mean much more than just business. But Caroline has to wonder—after the heartbreak he’s just been through, is Alex simply rebounding, or could this be the rekindling of a spark that never truly faded?
Monica Murphy Reviews: I absolutely loved The Reluctant Bride by Monica Murphy! After discovering Whit in Things I Wanted to Say (But Never Did), I fell in love with the Lancasters and have been hooked ever since. This particular story frustrated me at first – there were moments where I wanted to throw my Kindle, especially when Charlotte’s dad was forcing her into a marriage she didn’t want or need. But then, you meet Perry, and suddenly it all makes sense. He’s so swoon-worthy, and I’m already in love with him. I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds in The Ruthless Groom! -Sharon
I really enjoyed getting to know Tony better in The Freshman—he turned out to be such a relatable and likeable character. His relationship with Hayden was heartwarming, and they truly complemented each other. Watching their connection grow had me cheering for them the entire time. Overall, it was a fantastic read, and now I’m excited to dive into Jackson’s story and the rest of the College Years series from Monica Murphy next! -J.R.R.
