Rosie Danan is an American author who made her debut in 2020 with the release of The Roommate. The steamy romance was the winner of the 2020 Ripped Bodice Award for Excellence in Romantic Fiction and has since been optioned for film. She followed that book up in 2021 with The Intimacy Experiment.

When Danan is not writing, she enjoys petting dogs, jogging to music, and cooking in her kitchen in her own version of the television show Chopped, using the ingredients in her fridge.

The Roommate follows Clara, daughter of an east coast elite family known for their lack of impulse control. Clara isn’t like the rest of them though and she is the consummate socialite. Danan followed that book up with The Intimacy Experiment. The story sees two people from different worlds drawn together. Naomi has a sex-positive start-up that is gaining headlines, but is costing her lecturing gigs. While Ethan is a rabbi who is struggling to gain millennials to the synagogue. For each to get what they want, the two will team up for a love experiment a buzzy seminar series. However, they soon find that they are the ones putting this love experiment to the test.
