If You Like Scott Hahn Books, You’ll Love…

Scott Hahn Synopses: Rome Sweet Home is a non-fiction book by Scott Hahn and Kimberly Hahn. The authors, a widely recognized and beloved Catholic couple, have spent years traveling across North America, sharing their compelling journey to the Catholic Church. In this heartfelt account, they recount the spiritual odyssey that led them to embrace Catholicism.
Scott Hahn, once a Presbyterian minister, top seminary student, and a brilliant Scripture scholar, was fiercely anti-Catholic—until he began to uncover the truth he once opposed. Kimberly, a highly regarded theology student and the daughter of a prominent Protestant minister, faced a profound spiritual crisis when Scott converted to Catholicism.
Their story of conversion has touched the lives of thousands, rekindling the faith of lukewarm Catholics and inspiring many others to explore Catholicism. Written with warmth, humility, and wit, the Hahns’ deep love for Christ, Scripture, and the Church shines through every page. Their commitment to truth and neighbor, along with their emphasis on the importance of family, makes their story a source of inspiration for all who read it.
Hail, Holy Queen is a non-fiction book by Scott Hahn. Many Christians are aware that the life of Jesus is foreshadowed throughout the Old Testament. In this insightful exploration, Scott Hahn delves deeply into the Bible, drawing on the work of both Catholic and Protestant scholars to reveal the profound connections between the Old and New Testaments. He uncovers how Mary, like Jesus, holds a pivotal role as the “New Eve” to His “New Adam.”
Hahn illuminates the Marian mystery within the Book of Revelation, showing how it was foreshadowed in the earliest chapters of Genesis and in the story of King David’s monarchy, which highlights the special significance of the king’s mother. With these scriptural and historical foundations, he reexamines Marian doctrines such as the Immaculate Conception, Perpetual Virginity, Assumption, and Coronation.
By guiding readers through passages rich in mystery and poetry, Hahn invites them to rediscover the ancient art and science of reading Scripture. His work offers a deeper understanding of the Bible’s truthfulness and its enduring relevance to faith and religious practice in the modern world.
Can You Trust the Bible? is an audiobook by Scott Hahn. The Church has long held that the Bible is a faithful record of God’s revealed truth, not merely a human account filled with errors. This belief is at the heart of Dr. Scott Hahn’s classic series, Can You Trust the Bible? In this series, Dr. Hahn, a renowned Catholic Scripture scholar and best-selling author, powerfully demonstrates that the ancient Catholic teaching—affirming that the Bible is free from all error—remains valid and has been reaffirmed by recent papal encyclicals and the Vatican II document Dei Verbum.
Dr. Hahn argues that the idea of the Bible being inerrant only in religious and moral matters is not a novel development from modern scientific analysis. Instead, he shows that this limited view was explicitly condemned by Pope Leo XIII, Pope Pius XII, and even by Vatican II. Contrary to the skepticism of many contemporary Catholic scholars, who now believe that much of the New Testament is not historical, Hahn highlights a resurgence among Protestant scholars who are rediscovering respect for the Church’s traditional claims about the Bible.
This series provides an in-depth exploration of why the Catholic Church’s understanding of the Bible has withstood the test of time and why recent trends in biblical criticism are being reconsidered. For those seeking clarity on the trustworthiness of the Bible, Dr. Hahn’s series offers a compelling and irrefutable defense of the Church’s teachings.
