If You Like Steve Berry Books, You’ll Love…
Steve Berry Synopses: The Amber Room is a standalone title by Steve Berry. The Amber Room, an exquisite masterpiece crafted from pure amber, stands as one of humanity’s greatest treasures—a room of unparalleled beauty, adorned with walls and furnishings of breathtaking artistry. Yet, behind its allure lies an enigmatic tale that has fascinated generations. Commissioned by Frederick I of Prussia in 1701 and later perfected in the Russian imperial city of Tsarskoe Selo, the Amber Room is a testament to artistic brilliance. However, history took a sinister turn when German forces invaded the Soviet Union in 1941, pilfering the Room as they marched. As the fires of World War II raged and the Allies commenced their bombing campaign, the Amber Room vanished from sight, remaining concealed despite global efforts to recover it.
In the present day, the quest for this lost treasure is reignited by two influential men, each deploying their finest agents to track down the elusive prize. And thus begins a high-stakes hunt that spans continents and generations…
Life holds a sense of contentment for Atlanta judge Rachel Cutler. Her fulfilling career, her love for her children, and her amicable relationship with her ex-husband, Paul, paint a picture of stability. However, the tranquility shatters with her father’s sudden, mysterious demise—a man who bore the scars of World War II’s horrors. Unveiling perplexing clues left behind by her father, Rachel embarks on a journey to Germany, trailed closely by Paul. Their pursuit thrusts them into a labyrinth of shadowy figures, all driven by their own agendas and claiming a stake in the quest for the Amber Room’s secrets.
The Omega Factor is a standalone novel by Steve Berry. The Ghent Altarpiece, a masterpiece of unparalleled significance, has been subjected to relentless violations throughout its existence. Targeted by acts of vandalism, theft, and disassembly, it bears a secret that has spurred an enduring fascination—why is it repeatedly targeted?
In the heart of this enigma stands Nicholas Lee, a dedicated investigator for UNESCO, an arm of the United Nations committed to safeguarding the world’s cultural heritage. Tasked with the protection of a diverse range of artifacts, Nick’s role spans from obscure relics to national treasures of immense value.
His journey leads him to Belgium, where he reconnects with a woman from his past. Unbeknownst to him, this visit sets in motion a series of events that entangle him in a relentless pursuit of a legendary panel stolen from the Ghent Altarpiece in 1934. This stolen relic, cloaked in mystery, becomes the focal point of a centuries-old conflict that simmers beneath the surface.
Two opposing forces come to light. On one side, the Maidens of Saint-Michael—also known as les Vautours, the Vultures—an elusive order of nuns tasked with guarding an extraordinary truth. On the other, the Vatican, driven by a relentless pursuit to uncover and possess the secrets held by the Maidens. Nick becomes the catalyst for revealing the existence of the Vultures, jeopardizing their concealed knowledge. The Vatican seizes the opportunity to exploit this vulnerability, capitalizing on the ambitions of a power-hungry cardinal and a morally compromised archbishop, both with their own ulterior motives.
I just started reading Steve Berry’s books and thoroughly enjoy them. What I like most about them is the editors notes at the end.
How about one complete chronological (by published date) list- like there is for Vince Flynn? Thanks!
I’ll definitely consider it. He’s probably the only one who has that because he was one of the first (or maybe even the first) author on the site. Actually, if you hadn’t have mentioned it, I probably would’ve gotten rid of it next time I saw it.
I’ve read all of Steve Berry’s book, up to The Columbus Affair. which I believe is his latest. Is he going to work on the next book? Prefer Cotton Malone books.
Then you are in luck! The King’s Deception will be out June 11th. We’ll get this added to the site soon.
Steve Berry also published:
The Balkan Escape & The Devil”s Gold
These are short stories available in ebook format.
Thanks, Hal! We started out focused on novels, but we are beginning to add eBooks, short story collections, non-fiction, etc. to our lists.
