T.J. Newman Synopses: Drowning by T.J. Newman is a heart-pounding thriller about survival and a family’s fight against impossible odds. Six minutes after Flight 1421 takes off, disaster strikes as the commercial jet crashes into the Pacific Ocean. As passengers attempt to evacuate, an engine explosion floods the plane, and twelve survivors, including engineer Will Kent and his 11-year-old daughter Shannon, are trapped inside the sinking aircraft.
Now, more than two hundred feet underwater, Will and Shannon are waist-deep in water with dwindling air, desperately trying to stay alive. Above the surface, the elite rescue team led by Chris Kent, Will’s estranged wife and a professional diver, races against time to save them. But with the plane on the verge of sliding off an undersea cliff, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

T.J. Newman Review: Falling is a standalone novel by T.J. Newman. I picked this book up yesterday afternoon and couldn’t put it down until I finished. It’s intense, thrilling, and grips you right from the first line.
The story follows Captain Bill Hoffman, who is piloting Coastal Airlines Flight 416 from Los Angeles to New York, unaware of how drastically his life will change. Meanwhile, back home, his wife Carrie, 10-year-old son Scott, and infant daughter Elise are taken hostage by Sam, an intruder posing as an internet repairman.
Bill, trapped aboard a plane at 38,000 feet, learns of an impossible choice: to save his family, he must crash the plane and sacrifice 149 lives on board.
While this book is a high-stakes thriller, it also delves into themes of love, family, and loss. It’s hard to believe this is the author’s debut! If you’re a fan of thrillers, you *have* to read this one—it’s an absolute page-turner!
I am hooked on T. J. Newman! Each one of her books are gripping page turners from beginning to the end. Her characters are so real that I cry when bad things happen. The last one, Worst Case Scenario, has scenes that are so real, that I suffer with the characters when they get hurt.
Each book is very intense so if you like light comedy, adventure or romance novels, stay away!
