She comes here after her mentor, an acclaimed poet, mysteriously dies in the canyons and leaves her his estate. Maggie falls for the area as it is unlike any place she’s been and the people are unlike any she has known, especially Fox. In the home, Maggie looks into Cooper’s letters to try and learn the secrets of his life and understand his death. Her journey will bring her face-to-face with the ancient spirits of the desert and finds the hidden power at its heart.
