William G Tapply
William G. Tapply (1940-2009) was an American author of legal thriller/mystery novels and non-fiction books on fishing, the outdoors and writing. He is best known for his books featuring Brady Coyne. Tapply earned his Bachelor’s degree in American studies and his Master’s degree in teaching from Harvard. Before he became a full-time writer, he worked as a teacher and an administrator at Lexington High School, his alma mater. In addition, he also taught at Emerson College and Clark University. Tapply was married to fellow mystery author and editor Vicki Stiefel and had five children.

William G. Tapply made his debut as a published author with the 1984 novel Death at Charity’s Point. The novel won the Scribner Crime Novel Award. He followed it up that same year with The Dutch Blue Error. His final mystery novel was Outwitting Trolls, which was published posthumously in 2010. Below is a list of William G.     I love all of William Tapplys books!! My dad was a great fisherman ans taught all of us kids to fish. I loved fishing with him and my girls always loved it too. We all wete avid readers too.
