The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter is a mystery novels by American author Susan Wittig Albert. The series is based on the life of author/illustrator Beatrix Potter. In 1905, she bought a farm in the Lake District of England and it follows her as she moves away from the big city life to a new life in the country. The series is written for readers of all ages.
The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter series began with The Tale of Hill Top Farm, which was published in 2004. The series was planned for eight novels, the eighth novel of which was The Tale of Castle Cottage (published in 2011).
