Order of Jason Bourne Books
Jason Bourne is a fictional character created by prolific American novelist Robert Ludlum. After Robert Ludlum passed away in 2001, the reins were taken over by Eric Van Lustbader, another very prolific American novelist.
Jason Bourne suffers from retrograde amnesia, therefore it is unknown to him why the CIA and others are trying to kill him. The Bourne Trilogy was adapted into a trilogy of films starring actor Matt Damon. The three films were both critically and commercially successful. Robert Ludlum wrote the original Bourne Trilogy of The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum. Subsequent ongoing novels are still being written by Van Lustbader.

Jason Bourne Synopsis: In The Bourne Identity, Jason Bourne cannot remember who he is – or who he was. He does not even remember what he looked like. That does not change the fact that there are powerful groups and assassins looking to end his life. Although The Bourne Identity is most famous for having been adapted to the film starring Matt Damon in 2002, it was also made into a made-for-TV movie in 1988.
OK so I suppose beginning with The Bourne Identity IS fine. I had heard there was a funny order to them – like maybe not in which they were released? But that also may have been the movies. I’m not sure.
