Ranger Sam Burrack is the protagonist in a series of western novels by American novelist Ralph Cotton. Sam Burrack is an Arizona Ranger. Courageous and fast on the draw, his goal is to make justice swift and his aim is deadly. The series has also been known simply as the Ranger series, or as the Big Iron series.
