Henry Winkler Announces New TV Series
Henry Winkler, best known as the actor who portrayed The Fonz in Happy Days, has announced a deal to adapt his Hank Zipzer book series into a television series.
The series is semi-biographical, based on Winkler’s experiences growing up with learning disabilities.
“We’re going to make a television show of Hank Zipzer, the world’s greatest underachiever,” says Winkler.
“They are comedies first, they are my story, and we’re going to make a TV show out of them right here.”
