Stephenie Meyer Not Keen On “Twilightland”
Stephenie Meyer, who is a producer on the film adaptation of the Shannon Hale novel Austenland about a Jane Austen-themed getaway, thinks that the idea of a “Twilightland” is awful.
When asked about such an idea, she responded “What, would you go to high school? Would you have to go to high school for it? That’s not a vacation. Sounds awful. I don’t want to go back to high school.”
“I guess you could have a mechanical vampire that you ride piggyback, [but] that would be a liability issue, I think. You could fall right off.”
