Vince Flynn Passes Away
Vince Flynn, the author of the critically-acclaimed “Mitch Rapp” series of books, has passed away.
Flynn battled prostate cancer for the last couple of years, and lost the battle on Wednesday, June 19th, 2013.
He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010, however managed to write two more Mitch Rapp books during that time. The story he always wanted to tell was the origin of Mitch Rapp, and with “American Assassin” he was able to do just that.
Flynn was recently working on the 14th Mitch Rapp novel, inronically titled The Survivor. This book is due out in October 8, 2013. It is unclear at this time whether the release date of the Survivor will change due to this tragedy.
