Scott Reintgen is an American author of YA fantasy novels. He writes the Nyxia Triad series. Scott grew up in North Carolina; on the same street as fourteen of his cousins. Of the group, he was the storyteller. He enjoyed that role so much that he decided to spend most of college and graduate school studying literature. Peter was educated at the local state school until he was 11 and then became a boarder at Geelong Grammar School – a school attended by Rupert Murdoch and Prince Charles. In 1961, he studied science for a single unsuccessful year at Monash University. During a long career in advertising, he worked for a small business that only required him to work two afternoons per week, and he could write as much as he wanted.
