Elizabeth Perona is the joint pseudonym of Tony Perona and Liz Dombrosky, who write cozy mystery novels under this pen name. They write the Bucket List Mysteries series. Tony and Liz are a father/daughter writing team. Liz graduated from Ball State University in the Honors College with a degree in teaching. Meng Jin is a Chinese-American author who wrote the novel, Little Gods. She was born in Shanghai, China in May of 1989, but she later moved to America. She currently lives in San Francisco. Meng is a Kundiman Fellow, the Kundiman is a national organization dedicated to the creation and cultivation of Asian American creative writing. Jin is also a graduate of the Hunter College MFA. Lisa Berne is an American author of historical romance novels. She writes the Penhallow Dynasty series. Lisa fell in love with historical romance when she was 14 years old, when she found herself reading Lady of Quality by Georgette Heyer. She still considers Heyer to be her greatest influence. Evelyn Waugh (1903-1966) was an English author of literary fiction and non-ficton books. Evelyn was the son of a successful editor/publisher. In addition, his brother Alec also became a writer. After getting expelled from a boarding school due to his novel The Loom of Youth, he ended up at Lancing College – where the entire focus of English class was to produce prose writers. He also attended Hertford College, Oxford. When World War II broke out, he served in the Royal Marines and Royal Horse Guards.
