Alys Clare is the pen name of British author Elizabeth Harris, who writes historical mystery novels under this pen name. She writes the Hawkenlye Mysteries series and the Aelf Fen series. Alys was raised near where her Hawkenlye series is set in Kent. She went to school in Tonbright, and studied English at the University of Keele. Welcome to the first newsletter of Summer!
Hope everyone is having a good Summer thus far. I’m up at the cottage right now. It’s nice as the last couple of years we have brought up the kids friends with them for the whole trip.
While that means much less “family” time the kids have a lot more fun, plus it gives me time to sit back and do what I do best – READ. (more…)
