June 2017 Newsletter

Welcome to June!  We’re just a few weeks away from Summer.

That’ll be the topic of this months mailbag actually – Summer reading.  I know a lot of people who plan out their Summer reading and read specific genres of books during the Summer.

I’ve had a great reading month.  I raced through the entire John Wells series by Alex Berenson.  These are spy thrillers and are absolutely amazing. (more…)

Susan Kiernan-Lewis is an American author of mystery, romantic suspense and dystopian fiction novels. She writes the Maggie Newberry series, the Irish End Game series and the Burton & Kazmaroff series. Besides being a novelist, Susan is a copywriter, playwright and video editor. Other than writing, her interests include horses, France, cooking and travel – and each of these interests find their way into her writing. As someone who moved around a lot in a military family, Susan tends to write about characters who are adapting to a new environment. Andrzej Sapkowski is a Polish author of fantasy novels. He writes The Witcher series. Prior to becoming a writer, Andrzej studied economics and worked in sales for a foreign trade company. In 1986, his first short story (Wiedzmin) was published in Fantastyka (the number one fantasy magazine in Poland) to tremendously positive reviews. This is what became The Witcher. Due to the success of the story, he turned the story into larger saga. This helped make Andrzej one of the top Polish fantasy novelists of the 1990s. (more…)
