Amanda Carmack is an American author of historical mystery novels. She writes the Kate Haywood Elziabethan Mysteries series. She also writes as Amanda McCabe and Laurel McKee. Amanda became interested in the Tudors after happening upon “Anne of the Thousand Days” on TV as a kid. She wishes she could live with them, but writing about them is a close second. Irving Wallace (1916-1990) was an American author and screenwriter. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Wallace began selling stories to magazines when he was a teenager. During World II, he served alongside Theodor Seuss Geisel (better known as Dr. Seuss) – all the while still writing for magazines. After the war, Wallace became a Hollywood screenwriter. He collaborated on such films as The West Point Story, Split Second, and Meet Me at the Fair.
