Helen Harper is a Scottish author of urban and contemporary fantasy novels. She writes the Blood Destiny, Bo Blackman, Corrigan and Highland Magic series. Helen left behind a career teaching English literature in the UK, Japan and Malaysia after finding success writing her Blood Destiny series. She is a professional member of the Alliance of Independent Authors and writes full-time, but still fits in creative writing workshops with schools along with volunteering to teach reading to young refugees from Myanmar. Helen has always loved to read, and would devour science fiction and fantasy novels when she was growing up in Scotland. She now lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with a collection of stray cats. Originally from Montana, Sherry spent several years living at the base of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains. In 1993, Sherry launched her mystery-writing career when she sold her first three Fred Vickery mystery novels to Berkley Prime Crime. In early 1994, she sold her first romance to Harlequin Superromance, launching her career as a romance writer. Along with her writing career, Sherry has been teaching writing workshops for more than 20 years through Dancing on Coals Workshops for Fiction Writers. Pauline Gedge is a Canadian author of historical fiction, science fiction, fantasy and horror novels. Born in New Zealand and having spent several years in England, Pauline’s family eventually emigrated to Canada. She studied at the University of Manitoba and attended teachers’ college in New Zealand. After writing poetry for years that went unpublished, Pauline tried her hand at fiction.
