Viola Grace is a Canadian author of sci-fi, paranormal romance and erotica novels and short stories. She writes the Nexus Chronicles, Tales of the Citadel, Warders, Sector Guard, Terran Times, Sisters of Silverwood, D.A.R.E. Project, Fairy Tales, Return of the Nine, Obscure Magic, Operation Reindeer Retrieval and more. Viola was born in Manitoba, Canada (where she still resides). Some of her hobbies include cross-stitch, needlepoint, quilting, costuming, cake decorating, baking, cooking, metal work, beading, sculpting, painting, doll making, henna tattoos, chain mail and others. She is the author of Abide with Me, a national bestseller and BookSense pick, and Amy and Isabelle, which won the Los Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction and the Chicago Tribune Heartland Prize, and was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Orange Prize in England. In 2009, she was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for her book Olive Kitteridge. Her short stories have been published in a number of magazines, including The New Yorker. Alexander Chee is an American author. He was born in Rhode Island, but spent his childhood in South Korea, Kauai, Truk, Guam and Maine. He attended Wesleyan University and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Among the awards and honours he has received include the Asian American Writers Workshop Literary Award, the Lambda Editor’s Choice Prize, the Michener/Copernicus Fellowship Prize, the 2003 Whiting Award, a residency from the MacDowell Colony and the 2004 NEA Fellowship in Fiction. Sujata was born in England to an Indian father and a German mother. She emigrated to the United States when she was 5 and was raised mostly in St. Paul, Minnesota, although she has called Baltimore, Maryland home for over a quarter century. Sujata has a B.A. in the Writing Seminars from the Johns Hopkins University. Prior to becoming a novelist, she worked as a features reporter for the Baltimore Evening Sun.
