Jeremiah Healy (1948-2014) was an American author of detective fiction and legal thriller novels. He wrote the John Francis Cuddy series, as well as the Mairead O’Clare series (as Terry Devane). Healy had worked as a sheriff’s officer and a military police captain. He also practiced and taught law (at the New England School of Law).
