Anthony Trollope (1815-1882) was an English author of literature. He wrote the Chronicles of Barsetshire and Palliser series. Trollope was one of the most respected novelists of his era, writing about the political, social and gender issues that were at play during the Victoria era. He was a favourite of Sir Alec Guinness (who never left home without a book of Trollope’s), multiple British Prime Ministers and contemporary American novelists Sue Grafton and Dominick Dunne.
