Wahida Clark is an American author of urban fiction novels. She created the Thug Love Fiction sub-genre of street lit. She was the first street lit author to write a series. Wahida spent nine and a half years in prison and was then released into a halfway house. She is now Vice President of a non-profit organization called the Prodigal Sons and Daughters Redirection Service, which is a re-entry program for convicts and ex-cons. Inspector Erlunder is the protagonist in a series of crime fiction novels by Icelandic novelist Arnaldur Indridason. Erlendur Sveinsson is a detective in Reykjavik, Iceland and works alongside Elinborg and Sigurdur Oli. The novels do not always feature Erlendur, and a couple of them are centered around one of the other two characters. The series is also known as the Reykjavik Murder Mysteries. (more…)

Arnaldur Indridason is an Icelandic novelist of crime fiction. He is best known for his Inspector Erlendur series. He is the son of author Indridi G. Thorsteinsson. Arnaldur received his degree in history from the University of Iceland, then worked as a journalist, freelance writer and film critic. At one point, his novels were seven of the top ten books at the Reykjavik City Library. His novels have been published in 26 countries and into many different languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Russian, Dutch, Polish, Greek, Danish, Catalan, Czech, Hungarian, Chinese, Croatian, Romanian and Bulgarian. Brad Meltzer Announces New Picture Book Biography Series
Written by Brandon Williams on Tuesday, March 5th, 2013Decoded host and author Brad Meltzer has announced that he has signed a deal with Penguin’s Dial Book for Young Readers imprint.
He will be writing a picture book series, called “Ordinary People Change the World.” Each book in the series is biographical, with the first two titled I Am Amelia Earhart and I Am Abraham Lincoln. Both of those books will be released in early 2014. (more…)

Jess Mestriani is a high school sophomore who got struck by lightning and was given the ability to find missing people.
