BlackBerry, Gaiman Announce New Project

The project is called A Calendar of Tales and installments will be released on a monthly basis. One interesting little twist is that readers will be encouraged to contribute.
“I’ve always been fascinated by the relationship between fans and artists, and between art and technology,” said Gaiman. “This project is a terrific way to explore all of those relationships, using the BlackBerry Z10 and the BlackBerry Keep Moving Hub to find out how technology and community interaction can inspire the artistic process, and elevate the work itself to another level.” (more…)

Stephen King Discusses “Doctor Sleep”

“When the [sequel] idea would pop up in my mind I would think, ‘Now Danny’s 20, or now he’s 25. … I wonder if he’s drinking like his father?’” he said. “Finally I decided ‘Okay, why don’t I use that in the story and just revisit that whole issue? Like father, like son.’” (more…)
